I’ve been told that swear words are for those with poor vocabularies, but f— me these speakers are sexy. The Bang & Olufsen multiroom speakers have been around since the end of 2016 and are both incredibly expensive and really well designed. With the addition of the limited edition ‘Bronze Collection’, the range just got a whole lot more aesthetic.

Bang & Olufsen designers have said that “People are drawn to spaces and objects, where contrasts and details enhance each other. For the Bronze Collection speakers, we combined the earthy aluminium bronze tone, the epitome of warmth and timeless elegance, with bespoke multi-coloured wool yarn from Kvadrat and premium walnut wood.” And if you think that sounds expensive, you’d be spot on.

The multiroom speakers by B&O connect to your home theatre system/smart home interface such as Google Chromecast, Bluetooth systems, etc and will set you back anywhere from $899 for the cheapest – all the way up to $5,000 at the top end.

London-based visual artist Josh Labouve has said The unique forms of the speakers acted as a basis for creating the animations, which themselves were founded on the minimalist geometry evident in the collection.” While that’s about 100% more artistic talk than I can handle, you have to give it up that they look great.

While the most I’ll see of these incredible speakers will be in a David Jones shop window, you can pick them up online on the Bang & Olufsen website or in-stores from mid-December.
