The last piece of HyperX gear we reviewed here at EFTM were the Cloud Flight’s and they proved to be a brilliant set of cans. Light, with a crisp sound and great battery life. And if they’re anything to go off, the Cloud Mix should prove to be quite an accessory.

The Cloud Mix can be broken down simply as having;

  • Bluetooth connectivity for laptop, phone & tablet use.
  • Wired option for the gaming set-up.
  • HyperX’s latest ‘Dual Chamber’ 40mm drivers.
  • Traditional HyperX quality, light style.

The wired connection is a 3.5mm jack, which means you’ll be able to plug it into any device with a standard headphone port. One of the criticisms that gaming headsets receive is their lack of use and/or compatibility, so it’s nice to see where HyperX are taking the Cloud Mix.

It comes with two microphone options, one built in for when you’re using the bluetooth mode on phone, etc. And an external plug-in mic that you can throw on for the gaming sessions.

The HyperX Cloud Mix is already on shelves for $299 AUD at JB Hi-Fi. You can expect a full review in the near future here at EFTM.
