To be honest I had no idea the Japanese were into their whisky, but according to a bottle sent to EFTM HQ they very much are. Suntory Whisky has been at it since 1923 and their new brand Toki has just hit Australian shores.
It’s a blend of selected whiskies from the House of Suntory’s acclaimed Hakushu Distillery, Yamazaki Distillery and Chita Distillery. The blend uses Hakushu American white oak cask malt whisky and a Chita heavy-type grain whisky.
Suntory Whisky Toki has a silky taste with vivid character and a sweet and spicy finish. It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or even in a cocktail. The clear and gold concoction will set you back $64,99 for 700mm
