New leak shows off the LG V60 with four rear cameras, headphone jack and 5,000mAh battery

LG may be skipping announcing anything at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade show this month, but they still have a phone to announce and details have leaked showing off some details of the upcoming LG V60 ThinQ flagship.

The leak, shared by Evan Blass (@evleaks) shows the V60 will include a quad-camera array on the rear, as well as including four microphones, a massive 5,000 mAh battery and a headphone jack, a feature now lacking on most flagship phones these days.

The phone has a volume rocker and an additional button on the right hand side, presumably a shortcut key to Google Assistant similar to the button seen on previous LG V and G series phones. The images don’t show a rear mounted fingerprint scanner, so it’s likely LG has moved to an underglass sensor for the V60 ThinQ

LG has previously announced G-series phones in the early half of the year around MWC, with the V-series normally announced in the second half. A rumour from David Ruddock of Android Police suggests that LG may switch that up this year phasing our or at least delaying their high end G-Series phone in favour of launching the V-series phone earlier in the year instead.

In terms of when LG will announce the V60 ThinQ, when cancelling their MWC appearance, LG said to expect ‘separate events in the near future to announce its 2020 mobile products’ so we hopefully won’t have long to wait.
