I’m not so sure about calling every implementation of Apple’s latest keyboard mechanism Magic, it is a very nice to touch and use keyboard, but it’s really only close to “Magic” on the iPad Pro case. Leaving that aside, that latest generation keyboard which first appeared on the 16 inch MacBook Pro is now on the 13 inch too.
Starting at $1,999 the 13 inch Macbook Pro is my personal favourite. Just the right size, all the guts under the hood – it’s an all rounder.
No longer available as “just” a keyboard, the 13 inch comes standard with the Touch Bar colour screen above the keys, and the Touch ID for faster login.
Tom Boger from Apple’s Mac Product marketing team says “Whether you’re a college student, a developer, or a creative pro, the 13-inch MacBook Pro delivers powerful performance, a stunning Retina display, and all-day battery life in our most portable pro notebook.”
“Today we’re adding the new Magic Keyboard, doubling the standard storage, and boosting performance, making the 13-inch MacBook Pro an even better value for our customers,”
“With these updates, our entire notebook lineup features the Magic Keyboard for the best typing experience ever on a Mac notebook, offers twice the standard storage than before, and delivers even more performance.”
It’s not just the keyboard, the latest gen MacBook 13 inch also packs double the storage, with 256GB as standard, up to 1TB available, and there’s a new 10th generation Intel processor inside too.
For those who operating in a RAM heavy environment, there is now a 16GB offering as standard on the upper models, plus, for the first time you can option up to 32GB of RAM – really useful for those in the graphics and creative fields.
