The CT55 curved monitors offer a Full HD resolution display in either 27-inch or 32-inch sizes, with a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 3-sided borderless design that looks fantastic when paired with another display for minimal interruption.

The monitors have a lovely curve of 1000R – it has a 1000R means you’d get a 1m radius when you put these monitors in a circle. Why curved? Samsung says it’s ‘designed to provide comfort and immerse the user in content by surrounding the field of view with a close viewing angle’.

The CT55 also supports AMD FreeSync functionality as well as offering a fast 75Hz refresh rate, meaning you’re going to get a quality gaming experience – though not quite as good as the Samsung Odyssey monitors hitting our shores later this year. Stereo 5W speakers built-in will give you a decent sound as well without additional speakers on the desk.

Phil Gaut,Director Display and Memory,at Samsung Electronics Australia. said of the launch ‘The Curved CT55 monitor breaks new ground in Samsung’s range of stunning display innovation that will deliver the more immersive, comfortable, and impactful viewing experiences. It also builds on our leadership in curved monitor designs since they first launched almost five years ago. Demand for curved monitors in Australia continues to grow as more people understand just how important their home or office workstation design is when it comes to productivity and comfort.

If you’ve been needing a new monitor – or perhaps something snazzy for your Work From Home setup – then you can find the Samsung CT55 at retailers now.
