JBL ups their Boombox game with the Boombox 2

The design may be similar but the beast is bigger and better with JBL announcing the latest version of their Boombox speaker the Boombox 2.

JBL say this is “Guaranteed to survive any party” and this really is a party speaker. More than just a little Bluetooth speaker for the room, this is a whole party speaker and while JBL make some BIG party speakers this one is most importantly portable as all heck!

Pumping out tunes for 24 hours thanks to the 72.6Wh battery on board, and if your phone is low on juice, tap into that battery with your charging cable linked right to the Boombox 2.

There are two 106mm woofers, and two 20mm tweeters this thing is pushing out 2 x 40W power when plugged in, 2 x 30W RMS on battery power.

Oh, and it’s waterproof.
