The range of wireless earbuds available in Australia is expanding rapidly, with phone maker realme today announced they’re broadening their existing AIoT range also with a new set of wireless earbuds, this time the realme Buds Q.

The realme Buds Q are a smaller, more compact and hence more affordable than the previously released Buds Air. The new design from world Renowned Art Director, Jose Levy is more in-ear than the previous ‘stick’ style earbuds.

Though compact the Buds Q offer up to 4.5 hours of continuous music, and though it won’t sanitise your earbuds like the LG TONE Free case while charging, the realme buds charging case will bring the total battery life up to 20 hours.

The Buds Q include 10mm Dynamic Bass Boost drivers made from premium polymer composite which promise to deliver a decent sound.

Pairing the Buds Q to your device is simple with Bluetooth 5.0 support, and the custom R1Q chip which lets you connect ‘sound instantaneously with just a touch of a finger’.

Touch is important and the Buds Q are touch enabled with tap and swipe controls to skip tracks, answer calls and more, including the option to customise with the realme Link app.

Speaking on the launch of realme Buds Q, Andy Yang, Managing Director of realme Australia, says:At realme, we aim to be known globally as the brand that delivers the best pound-for-pound tech products on the market. Our latest partnership with renowned Art Director Jose Levy ensures that we continue to provide our customers with products that combine trendy design with cutting-edge technology.

You can get you hands on the realme Buds Q for $79 from $79 at the realme e-store, Make it Mine, mobileciti, 5GWORLD, Essential Appliance Rentals, Amazon, Kogan, eBay and Catch.com.
