Call it wearable art, or call it an expression of your love for LEGO this one is something very new.
The first ever Flexible Lego baseplate is part of the collaboration, a silicon panel onto which Lego lovers can use Lego DOTS to create custom designs on their clothing.
Karyn Hillman from Levi’s says “This is such a fun collaboration celebrating self-expression, creativity and nostalgia,”
“It’s Levi’s® and the LEGO Group coming together to co-create something really special and new, but undeniably familiar. With the customisable baseplates, Levi’s® is now literally a new blank canvas for LEGO play.”
DOTS was introduced earlier this year, your kids can get wrist bands to decorate and then there’s artwork to create but this is the first time it’s been seen on clothing.
That flexible Lego baseplate is sewn into the garmet, either as a patch on a Trucker Jacket, 501 ’93 jeans and on a lineup of hoodies, jumpers and bags.
Lego’s Lena Dixen says “There’s so much passion and energy in this partnership, working with the creative and iconic Levi’s® brand is inspiring, and is pushing the way we innovate the LEGO brand experience,”
Crazy, but cool. I want a hat!
