HMD Global has today announced that the Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 225 are landing in Australia this month.
The Nokia 225 is 4G compatible for crystal clear call quality in VoLTE networks, and comes in a ‘candy bar’ style design. Though it’s not running Android there’s still a bunch of smart features like built-in camera, FM radio and games like Snake to keep you entertained.
The phone includes a long-lasting 1150mAh battery, which with the minimal smart features should see you eking out maximum battery life.
The Nokia 225 4G in Black is available from today, Thursday 5 November at JB Hi-Fi for $79 RRP. It will also be available at Harvey Norman, Big W, The Good Guys and Officeworks in the coming weeks along with the additional colours – Classic Blue and Metallic Sand.

The rear camera array is fairly well stacked, with a 13MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor and 5MP Ultra-Wide sensor.
The Nokia 3.4 runs Android 10 – Android One edition, which means a very clean, essentially stock Android install. There’s also a an update to Android 11 on the cards as well.
The Nokia 3.4 will be available in Charcoal at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks and Big W from Tuesday 17 November for $249 RRP. The device in Fjord will also be available in the coming weeks.
