Finding a WiFi solution that covers your whole home is a problem for a lot of families. Optus is today announcing their latest effort to combat WiFi blackspots with their new Family Home Internet plans with WiFi Booster.

Optus is launching two new Family Home Internet plans which come with the usual NBN Optus Ultra WiFi modem (with 4G backup) as well as an Ultra WiFi Booster to extend WiFi coverage.

The plans include either a single booster, or if you have a larger home you can add up to three of the Home WiFi mesh units. The boosters can be either purchased outright ($216) or paid off over 12, 24 or 36 months.

The plans start from $79 per month for 12 months (normally $85/month) which includes one of the Ultra WiFi boosters, and unlimited downloads at 50/20 NBN speeds.

Optus Managing Director of Marketing and Revenue, Matt Williams said, “At Optus we are proud to be meeting the needs of Australian families with this all-in-one solution, being the first of its kind for the Australian market. The inclusion of the new Optus Ultra WiFi Booster as part of our new Family Internet plans ensures families can get the most out of their home internet service and keep connected to the things they love, from more parts of  their home.

The inclusion of extras like Optus Sport and Fetch are a big bonus for customers looking for additional content. Optus Sport especially is a great bonus for football fans giving you access to every Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Europa League Live or on demand as well as a bunch more content including the Barclay’s FA Women’s Super League, classics, shorts, shows, minis and more.

The new Optus Family Home Internet plans are live right now on the Optus Website to check out.
