Oh, My, God. RAM Trucks Australia has confirmed they are bringing the biggest, baddest pick-up truck (it’s not just a Dual-Cab) to Australia with expressions of interest being taken for the RAM 1500 TRX
Joshua Dowling at CarAdvice reported first that the RAM Trucks Australia website had opened a registration page for the beast and because it just looks so damn good and would be the ultimate flex arriving at the worksite – there’s not even need for a pricetag.

Dowling speculates the price could be $180,000 or more in Australia once it’s landed and converted to Right-Hand Drive – wowsers.
This ain’t for a first year apprentice, this is for the foreman.
My favourite line of the RAM Trucks website is the description of the RAM 1500 TRX as “Inspired by the Competition’s Nightmares”. Hell yes.

There ain’t no Hilux that can compete with this, and the Ford Ranger Raptor looks like a Subaru Jumbuck next to this.
In the US, this beast would compete with the F-150 Raptor, a much bigger vehicle than the Ranger, and if you’ve seen a RAM Truck on the road – you know they’re big.

It’s not just looks either, though I’d buy on those alone in this case – under the hood is a 702 horsepower 6.2 litre supercharged Hemi V8!
We’re talking a 2.7 tonne vehicle that does the 0-100 dash in 4.5 seconds.
Is it just me – or do you want one too? Damn it’s a fine looking car/truck/ute!
