The new-look JBL speaker range begins to roll out this month as the JBL brand takes centre stage on the smallest and loudest of the portable speaker range JBL offers.
Announced at IFA last year, the new design style brings a fresh new look to JBL’s portable speaker range, playing up the JBL brand in a bold way, while also adding fresh style, design and practical features.
This is the ultra-portable of the JBL range, with a range of colourful coverings to express your own personal style.
A new more rounded design and outer finish pushes this one away from the traditional “box” that was the Go Speaker.
A JBL Go 3 is IP 67 water and dustproof rated, so you can take your speaker to the beach, the bush or the pool and wirelessly stream from any smartphone.
You’ll get five hours playtime on a single charge too.

Like the Go, Clip gets a really big overhaul this year. A new shape, larger form, and much larger clip makes this a practical on-the go speaker.
The Carabina is integrated into the speaker for extra protection, allowing it to be clipped onto almost anything from a backpack, buckle or whatever you choose.
Also IP67 water and dust rated, it’s capable in any location, with 10 hours playtime on a single charge.
JBL Clip 4 will set you back $89.95
Like the Go and Clip, the Xtreme features a new style for JBL with a pattern of rubberised stripes on the bottom, meaning it will stay in place wherever you sit it.
This allows you to choose your spot with no risk of the speaker slipping away.
This beast will pump out loud music for 15 hours, so it’s a real party animal.
If you’ve got other JBL PartyBoost compatible speakers you can pair them together for a really big sound.
Built into the Xtreme 3 is a carry strap so it’s easy to take with you, like the others, it’s IP67 rated.
And if you’re low on juice for your smartphone, plug it in and draw some of the power out of the speaker to keep you going.
