HMD Global unveils new range of budget conscious Nokia phones

HMD Global has today announced a brand new range of budget friendly smartphones, with six new devices heading to market.

The new range consists of six Nokia phones being announced across the C-Series, G-Series and X-Series. HMD Global sees the line as a continuation of their mission of Accessible connectivity for everybody.

The new Nokia models are a global approach to launching new phones, so we’ll see more in the C, G and X series down the track.

C-Series

Today Nokia are announcing the C10 and C20 as the first devices in the C-series.

Nokia sees the C-Series as a bridge between feature phones and smartphones, offering consumers a path to update to a more modern phone while retaining features like a large screen and all day battery life in a durable polycarbonate body.

Nokia C20

HMD Global says the phones will run Android 11 Go Edition, which will include 2 years of security updates – with updates release quarterly.

The Nokia C10 will come in Purple and Grey colours, while the C20 will come in Sand and Dark Blue.

G-Series

Moving to the mid-range, Nokia sees the G-Series as the phones with the broadest appeal, referring to the phones as their ‘heartland’ which shows off the promise of what mobile technology can do for customers.

Nokia G10

HMD Global is bringing the G10 and G20 to market first, with the phones offering a big 3-day battery life and two years of OS updates and three years of security updates to keep your phone safe.

The X-Series is launching with the X10 and X20 phones, both powered by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 480 mobile processor which includes 5G connectivity.

The X10 and X20 phones will both include three years of warranty, as well as three years of software updates – both feature and security – which means you’ll start with Android 11, and get updates to Android 12, 13 and 14 over the next few years.
