BINGE and KAYO available on LG TVs

It’s about bloody time – said every LG TV owner in Australia. Streaming service Binge and Sports streaming subscription platform Kayo are now available on LG Smart TV’s from 2018 onwards.

That means, in the LG content store you can search for and install Binge and or Kayo with ease.

Both are products of Streammotion, and the apps would have been built almost simultaneously, and despite LG’s scale Samsung has had a long lead on LG here, with even Hisense launching Kayo earlier this year.

Nevertheless, it’s good to go now, and boy, doesn’t anything just look great on an OLED TV.

That said, it works on all LG Smart TVs from 2018, not just the OLED.

I signed into both Binge and Kayo quickly using their online verification code, rather than having to punch in passwords on screen.

“Joining our suite of existing content streaming apps, the launch of BINGE on select LG TV models will give Aussies even more choice when it comes to accessing their favourite movies, TV shows and documentaries.”

EFTM understands Kayo will formally announce their availability on LG TVs on Monday, to put some distance between their announcement and Binge, but expect the quotes to be similar, as it’s a great expansion for the service, and a great addition for LG TV owners.
