The iconic ThinkPad is getting a fresh new makeover this year, with Lenovo unveiling the latest Z-Series laptops at CES 2022.
Lenovo has refreshed the ThinkPad Z-Series with new Z13 and Z16 models sporting a new look that’s focused on modern simplicity. The new models use new colour accents including bronze and arctic grey as well as new materials including recycled aluminum available in artic grey or black, or recycled black vegan leather.
The 13.3-inch (Z13) and 16-inch (Z16)displays are 16:10 aspect ratio and come with minimal bezel all while including an updated communications bar at the top which includes a FHD camera with a larger sensor, electronic e-Shutter for privacy and dual-array microphones for improved audio.
Lenovo will be using exclusively AMD processors on the latest Z-series with the Z13 powered by Next-Gen AMD Ryzen PRO U-Series processors with integrated AMD Radeon graphics, while the Z16 is powered by Next-Gen AMD Ryzen PRO H-Series processors with integrated AMD Radeon graphics or with optional AMD Radeon discrete graphics. Both laptops will have options for up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and Gen 4 PCIe SSDs
Lenovo will ship Windows 11 onboard the laptops, however availability for the Z13 and Z16 hasn’t been announced, with Lenovo Australia advising it’s still being confirmed.
