Formula 1 looking to Lenovo for cutting-edge technology through their new partnership

Formula 1 season is nearly upon us with the first race of the 2022 season kicking off in just over a week’s time. As part of the 2022 season Formula 1 has partnered with Lenovo to bring Lenovo’s “cutting-edge” technology to Formula 1’s operations to provide high-level racing and entertainment to fans around the world.

Lenovo will bring not just hardware computing and server solutions to Formula 1 but also data collection systems to improve content for broadcast partners which of course means a much better F1 experience for us fans. How this will play out is yet to be seen but Lenovo will also be working with F1 on their commitment to “create employment and education opportunities for underrepresented groups, in the form of ten engineering scholarships each year through to 2025.”

The new partnership will hopefully bring some new and exciting experiences for us armchair experts and improve our F1 experience — keep an eye on EFTM also for live shows and more to enhance your F1 experience and enjoyment at race time.
