Samsung has announced their latest round of Galaxy devices overnight at their Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. We’ve seen a new Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, as well as a new Galaxy Watch 5 which Trevor has given his first impressions of here – but the big question is, where can you get them and how much will they cost?
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 will both be available to pre-order in Australia from today. Samsung will also be bringing the new Galaxy Watch 5 series and Galaxy Buds2 Pro to our shores, and can be pre-ordered from today.
Note, the devices will all be on-sale kicking off 2nd September.
To make sure you’re getting the best deals, we’ve rounded up the deals at retailers, and across the Australian telcos, so here’s where you can find them.
Samsung will be selling the Galaxy Z series, Watch5 series and Galaxy Buds2 Pro through retail, including through their e-store and Experience Stores, as well as the usual retail partners. The entire Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Galaxy Z Fold4 5G range will be seeing a free memory upgrade (up to $200 worth of value) which means you’ll jump from 128GB to 256GB just by pre-ordering – Bargain!

There’s a range of Australian retailers offering the Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Galaxy Z Fold4 5G and they appear to all have a landing page for deals on the new Galaxy range.
You can find the JB Hifi deals for both Flip4 and Fold4 on a single landing page, and they appear to be offering a trade-in deal up to $400.
Vodafone is offering both the Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G and Galaxy Z Flip4 5G on a variety of plans with Pre-orders starting today. Vodafone is also offering the Galaxy Watch 5 and Glaaxy
with a bonus storage upgrade and some exciting bonuses for pre-ordering. There’s also a pre-order bonus of a Samsung Wireless Charger Trio (worth $159) for pre-ordering.
Vodafone will also be offering a bonus for pre-ordering the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Galaxy Watch 5. Anyone pre-ordering will be able to get a pair of bonus Samsung Galaxy Buds2 in White, valued at $219.
There’s also an option for trade-in, which will bring the cost of the phone down. Vodafone will offer up to $700 of trade-in credit on the Galaxy Fold4 5G, or up to $500 of trade-in credit for the Galaxy Flip4 5G. Of course you’ll need to check out the list of eligible devices, and stay connected on a 12, 24 or 36 month plan.

There’s a bunch of plans available for the Galaxy Z Fold4 5G and Galaxy Z Flip4 5G available on Vodafone, but they’re highlighting a couple for this launch.
Vodafone will be offering the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 5G (512GB) with 40GB of Max Speed data a month for just $109.41 a month (device cost + plan fees included) over 36 months on Vodafone’s $40 Lite Plan (total min cost $2733.36). Those after the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G (512GB) can get it for just $85.80 a month (device cost + plan fees included) over 36 months on Vodafone’s $40 Lite Plan with 40GB of Max Speed data a month (total min cost $1883.40).

Telstra will also be selling the Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Galaxy Z Fold4 5G on a variety of plans on Australia’s largest 5G network. Retail pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip4 begins at the RRP of $1,499 and Galaxy Z Flip4 will start at $2,499.
Customers who shop at Telstra and pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold4 before September 1 2022 score a bonus Samsung Galaxy Watch5 (RRP value $649). While customers who shop at Telstra and pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip4 before September 1 2022 score a bonus Samsung Galaxy Watch5 (RRP value $449).
Optus will be offering the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Filip4 on a range of plans over 12, 24 and 36 months – but they’re concentrating on a few deals today. You can of course find the full range of plans at www.optus.com.au/mobile/samsung
Of course Optus is offering pre-order bonuses for all of the devices announced. Anyone pre-ordering a Galaxy Z Flip4 5G or Galaxy Z Fold4 5G will receivce a bonus Galaxy Tab A8 (64GB in Grey), while anyone ordering a Galaxy Watch5 or Galaxy Watch5 Pro will receive a pair of Galaxy Buds2 (White).
For the Galaxy Z Flip4 Optus is offering the 256GB model on a value plan for $90.62 per month for 36 months (includes $49 plan + $41.62 handset repayment) with 30GB included monthly (min. total cost $1547.32).
If it’s the Galaxy Z Fold4 5G you’re after, Optus will be offering the 512GB model for $94.80 per month for 36 months (includes $49 plan + $45.80 handset repayment) with 30GB included monthly (min. total cost $1697.80).
Onto the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Optus will be offering the Samsung Watch5 40MM on a 36 month plan for $26.62 (includes $10 plan + $16.62 watch repayment) with 1GB of data included monthly (min. total cost $608.32). If you want to step up to the Galaxy Watch5 Pro you can get it on a 36 month plan for $33.58 per month (includes $10 plan + $23.58 watch repayment) with 1GB of mobile data included (min. total cost $858.88).
