After announcing their updated Republic of Gamers range yesterday, ASUS has announced their new range of consumer, creative and SMB focused lifestyle devices today. The new range includes new ProArt devices for creators including a world’s first glasses-free 3D OLED laptop display, as well as updated VivoBook and Zenbook devices featuring 13th Gen Intel Core processors and their updated TUF range featuring AMD Ryzen and Intel Core processors.
Starting off with the creator focused range of ProArt devices, ASUS has announced a range which includes the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED mobile workstation and ProArt Station PD5 desktop, as well as two ProArt Display monitors.
The ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED mobile workstation features the world’s first glasses-free 3D OLED display on a laptop. The display offers 3.2k resolution with 120Hz refresh rate on a 3D OLED panel allowing creators and gamers to view 3D photos, games and videos. The display uses Spatial Vision, which allows 2D content to be converted to an immersive 3D image at the flick of a switch.
The laptop includes a lay flat hinge, allowing the display to be viewed at any angle up to 180°.
The internals are powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU and up to 64 GB of upgradeable memory.
The chassis has a Mineral Black finish and includes slimmer screen bezels around the display, which also makes room for rear air vents which combined with the advanced ASUS IceCool Pro thermal technology allows for improved cooling.
ASUS has included their innovative ASUS Dial on the keyboard deck next to a large, stylus-compatible haptic touchpad, while on the sides you’ll find dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports capable of data transfer up to 40Gbps.
While the glasses free 3D display is awesome, ASUS will also be offering a more traditional 2D display, as well as offering a pro-certified NVIDIA RTX laptop GPU later in the year.
For creators wanting a desktop solution, the ProArt Station PD5 (PD500TE) offers a neat solution with an all-new thermal design to allow it to run faster and cooler while you work.
The ProArt Station PD5 is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU and up to an NVIDIA RTX A4000 GPU with 16 GB of VRAM and up to 128 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM which can handle any video editing or 3D modelling work you want to throw at it. ASUS also advise that a model with an RTX 40 series GPU is in the works.
The machine will also offer storage options with a choice of either up to 2TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD or up to 4TB 3.5-inch HDD – with toolless HDD trays to make upgrades easy.
ASUS has also incorporated Lumiwiz LED indicators on the front bezel of the desktop which show the status of the CPU and GPU, offering an at-a-glance insight into what the PC is doing. You can even customise the colours to match your mood in the ProArt Creator Hub.
ASUS will also offer two new ProARt Displays, with the ProArt Display OLED PA32DCM a 31.5-inch 4K OLED display with 700 nits brightness and a 99% DCI-P3 gamut.
ASUS are also announcing a 24-inch, 27-inch and 32-inch ProArt Display 4K resolution HDR monitors with a wide colour gamut with 99% DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB coverage
Aimed at a younger audience, the VivoBook range caters to creators and more trend conscious users. The new VivoBook announcement includes just one model, the Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED (K6604).
The new Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED features the world’s first glasses-free autostereoscopic 3D OLED 3.2K 120 Hz Dolby Vision display, letting you ‘Wow the world in 3D’.
Powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, with graphics provided by the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU up to an RTX 4070, the laptop can be configured with up to 64 GB DDR5 4800 MHz RAM with dual SO-DIMMs, and up to a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD.
As a creator focused device, the Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED includes the ASUS DialPad for precise control in applications, including the Adobe suite of applications.
The laptop comes with a full range of I/O ports including dual Thunderbolt 4 ports with up to 40Gbps transfer speeds, as well as a full-sized SD card reader, HDMI port, Ethernet and full-sized USB Type-A ports.
ASUS has included a privacy shield on their FHD resolution webcam, and there’s a fingerprint scanner for secure login.
For the Quality Conscious Consumers, the ASUS Zenbook range is seeing an update on a number of models at CES. The new range includes the Zenbook Pro 16X OLED (UX7602BZ), their most powerful Zenbook yet and the Zenbook Pro 14 OLED (UX6404) and Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404) which are all about performance and portability.
The new Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is the result of a partnership between Intel and ASUS and offers the most powerful version of the laptop to date.
The new model includes a unique 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13905H processor with ASUS Supernova System-on-Module (SoM) Design which enabled ASUS to reduce the motherboard core area by 38% and allow for improved cooling efficiency.
There is a 16-inch 16:10 aspect ratio 3.2K resolution 120Hz OLED HDR NanoEdge touchscreen on-board powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU and the laptop can be configured with up to 32 GB of fast LPDDR5X DRAM.
The keyboard uses the Active Aerodynamic System Ultra (AAS Ultra) mechanism to lift the keyboard automatically for a more comfortable typing angle, as well as offering improved airflow for enhanced system cooling. There’s also a White RGB intelligent lighting system that illuminates the keyboard.
Next up is the Zenbook Pro 14 OLED (UX6404) which offers ‘top-tier performance, best-in-class visuals, surprising innovations, and a compact chassis’ weighing just 1.65 kg and measuring less than 1.8 cm thick.
The new Zenbook Pro 14 OLED includes a 2.8K 120 Hz OLED NanoEdge Dolby Vision display which is Pantone validated for colour accuracy and includes a 100% DCI-P3 gamut.
The laptop is powered by up to the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor and includes a studio-grade NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU, with 16 GB DDR5 RAM but can be updated to 32GB and a 2 TB SSD. There’s also WiFi 6E connectivity on board with ASUS WiFi Master Premium to boost it further.
The ASUS DialPad is on-board for intuitive app control and the display supports the ASUS Pen 2.0. A full set of I/O ports means you won’t be wanting for connections, and a 76Wh battery will give long-lasting life.
The Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404) puts ‘mobile life on a rock-solid footing’ according to ASUS with the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor, studio-grade NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics, 32 GB of fast LPDDR5 memory, and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Of course there’s an excellent OLED display on-board with a slightly larger 14.5-inch 16:10 2.8K 120 Hz OLED HDR NanoEdge display, as well as a longer-lasting 70 Wh battery.
The laptop includes a thin-and-light chassis which will be available in two colours, Sandstone Beige and Inkwell Gray. The Sandstone Beige version has a lid made from a new eco-friendly plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) coating technique that creates a ceramic-like finish and stone-like feel.
At CES, ASUS are unveiling a new range of Business focused solutions which include a range of new commercial products ‘delivering incredible performance, versatility, and expandability for business’.
The Expert Business solutions this time around include the Expertbook B9 OLED, two ExpertCenter desktop solutions and two Chrome OS devices with the Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip and Chromebox 5 mini PC. ASUS has also announced the ExpertWiFi EBM68 router for high speeds and high security.
The ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403CVA) is made from an ultra-lightweight magnesium-lithium alloy making it one of the lightest 14-inch business laptops in the world, with the bonus of US-Military grade durability. The laptop is the first all-metal ASUS laptop which uses their eco-conscious manufacturing technology. The process helps to reduce production materials by up to 29% and shortens manufacturing time by up to 75% to maximise energy efficiency.
The laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel CPU supporting the Intel vPro platform with a 14-inch 2.9K resolution 16:10 aspect ratio OLED display that includes a 90% screen to body ratio. There’s a FHD IR camera for Windows Hello login and a full range of I/O ports includes Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI, combo audio jack, and LAN.
Mini in size, large in performance, the ExpertCenter PN64-E1 and ExpertCenter PN42 are the Mini PC models for ASUS. Both offer reliability and quality with easy to disassemble chassis for easy upgrades, offering a more sustainable choice for the office.
The PN64-E1 is powered by the latest Intel Core mobile processor, with dual-channel DDR5 memory, ultrafast WiFi 6E, and a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD. The ExpertCenter PN42 is powered by the latest Intel N-series processor and features up to seven USB ports for connecting multiple peripherals.
ASUS has announced a high-speed Expert series Wifi router, offering tri-band WiFi 6 support featuring speeds up to 7,800Mbps. The router supports 160MHz channels in the 5GHz band and can run up to 5 SSIDs to prioritise different traffic.
Coverage shouldn’t be a problem with support for up to 12 mesh node connections to grow with your business and the device can be easily mounted to a wall or left free standing.
You can easily manage the device with the all-in-one ASUS Router app providing simple setup and hassle-free management of the network.
ASUS is also announcing two Chrome OS devices with the Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip and 5th Generation Chromebox.
The ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip (CX3401FBA) includes a 14-inch 16:10 aspect ratio WUXGA resolution display with 144Hz refresh rate and an 83% screen to body ratio. The Vibe CX34 Flip includes a durable chassis in a distinctive pearl white finish and is built with MIL-STD 810H US military-grade certification.
The keyboard features orange-accented WASD keycaps – with the laptop positioned for cloud gaming.
The laptop is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe graphics and 16 GB of memory with up to 512GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. A 63 WHr battery is included for up to 10 hours of use on a single charge.
ASUS has also announced a desktop Chrome OS device with the new ASUS Chromebox 5 powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor and includes Intel WiFi 6E AX211.
Running Google’s Chrome OS, the Chromebox 5 includes full support for Android apps from Google Play. The mini-PC features automatic updates to the OS through Google so you never have to worry.
The Chromebox 5 also includes a built-in 15 W wireless charger, enabling users to easily charge supported devices by simply placing them on the Chromebox 5’s top cover.
The Chromebox features a wide variety of ports including a Thunderbolt 4 port for speedy data transfers, power delivery, and connections to external displays.
On the gaming front, which is separated from the Republic of Gaming announcements, ASUS announced the new TUF Gaming A16, an all AMD system as well as the new TUF Gaming A15/17 and F15/17 laptops with up to Intel Core i9-13900H or AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 CPUs and the latest GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs.
Featuring all-AMD processor and graphics, the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition features an awesome looking military-inspired Sandstorm paint job which adorns the rugged chassis.
The laptop is powered by the latest Ryzen 9 Zen 4 CPU, with up to a Radeon RDNA3 GPU, and AMD Smart Access Graphics. The laptop comes with up to 2 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 storage, and DDR5 4800 MHz RAM and ASUS advises that all RAM and storage slots are fully accessible.
There’s a large 90Wh battery on-board and you’ll get Dolby Atmos support on laptop as well as Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation ensures clear communications in any scenario for video conferencing or streaming.
Lastly, the ASUS TUF Gaming F15/17 and A15/17 offer either an Intel Core i9-13900H processor on the F15/17 or AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor on the TUF Gaming A15/17, with up to 32 GB DDR4-3200 and 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The A15/F15 can be configured with either a 15.6-inch FHD resolutionm, 144Hz refresh rate panel with 100% sRGB coverage with G-SYNC, or a 15.6-inch QHD resolution panel with 165Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The A17/F17 on the other hand will offer either a 17.3-inch FHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate panel with G-SYNC or a 17.3-inch QHD resolution, 240Hz refresh rate panel with 3ms response and 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage.
Both models include up to the latest GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU offering high frame rates at resolutions up to 1440p. ASUS has included a MUX switch which allows for the integrated graphics to be bypassed while gaming.
There’s also improved cooling featuring dual Arc Flow Fans with 84-blade design to provide 13% more airflow than their predecessors.
As with their Republic of Gaming range, ASUS has not shared any pricing or availability information for any of their Lifestyle range announced today. They’ll advise pricing and dates as soon as they confirm the details.
