Over at CES 2023 Dell has today announced the world’s first 6K resolution monitor with IPS Black panel technology, designed to provide higher contrast and deeper blacks.
The new Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor (U3224KB) is compatible with both Windows and Mac and offers not just a sharp 6K resolution but also VESA DisplayHDR 600 for those creative users who want the best detail and colour possible.
The IPS Black panel technology increases the depth for dark objects on the display and accurate colours from all viewing angles.
The Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor features a built-in HDR 4K webcam with support for auto-framing, light adjustments, automatic SafeShutter, echo cancellation mic and dual 14W speakers for great overall video conferencing abilities.
The monitor has a front-facing pop-out to provide easy access to ports including DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 with Extended Power Range to provide up to 140W PD.
The Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor will be arriving in the US in Q2 2023 but at this stage there are no local availability or pricing details.
Dell has also introduced a new monitor for those who do not need the 6K resolution, the Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor (U3423WE). This monitor includes the IPS Black panel technology mentioned above along with a curved WQHD display.
Support for connection and display from two different PCs simultaneously is also included using Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP).
The U3423WE will be arriving in the US on January 31 for US$1,329 but at this stage Australian availability and pricing have yet to be announced.
An upgrade for the USB-C Hub monitor has also been announced with the new Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Monitor (U4323QE). The monitor includes the ability to connect four different PCs and switch between them easily with the in-built KVM switch.
The U4323QE will be arriving in the US on January 31 for US$1,259 but at this stage Australian availability and pricing have yet to be announced.
