LG have announced that they will be bringing the Apple TV app, Apple Music, AirPlay and HomeKit to the webOS Hub in Australia.

The announcement names over 100 countries and regions, with Australia obviously our focus. The move brings the Apple TV and Apple Music app to webOS enabled LG TVs, as well as webOS enabled-TVs from over 200 partner brands running the TV software.

LG says that AirPlay and Homekit are available on the latest OLED TVs and UHD TVs, with the addition of Apple TV and Apple Music apps offering an ‘an easier, more versatile smart TV experience thanks to a diverse selection of content and innovative features that help bring the ultimate in viewing convenience and pleasure to even more audiences worldwide’.

To access the apps, access the LG Content store on your webOS TV and search for Apple and install. Once installed you can get access to your personal music library through the webOS Hub, and all the Apple TV content.
