Samsung have announced their A Series devices for 2023 today, with four new devices coming including the Galaxy A54 5G, A34 5G, Galaxy A14 5G, and Galaxy A14 all of which will be hitting Australia from the end of this month.
Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G
The new devices include premium design, starting at the top of the range with the Galaxy A54 5G which includes a premium rear glass finish and triple rear camera on the rear. The Galaxy A34/A54 5G also sport a triple rear camera array which includes Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) with both phones making use of Samsung Galaxy’s AI camera, as well as ‘Nightography’, for excellent quality shots in all light conditions.
The new Galaxy A Series devices come with 5,000mAh batteries and will provide up to two full days of battery life.
Both the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G devices are powered by Octa-core processors with 6GB Memory + 128GB Storage and feature immersive Super AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution, with a 6.4-inch on the Galaxy A54 5G and 6.6-inch on the Galaxy A34 5G.
Powered by Android 13 with Samsung OneUI 5.1 running over the top, the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G are guaranteed up to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
Availability
For those wanting to check them out, the Galaxy A34 5G will be available in two colour options: Awesome Lime and Awesome Graphite for $599. The Galaxy A54 5G will also have two colour options available: Awesome Graphite and Awesome Violet and will be priced at $699.

Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G
Samsung took the wraps off the Galaxy A14 5G at CES earlier this year, but we’re seeing local details announced today.
The Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G share core specs, with the major difference being the lack of 5G on the lower end model. Both phones include a 6.6-inch FHD+ Infinity V-display with 90Hz refresh, and are powered by Octa-Core processor with 4GB RAM + 128GB of storage with microSD card slot for expansion. There’s again a 5,000mAh battery promising up to 2-days battery life.
The Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G still include triple camera arrays on the rear with a 50MP main sensor and 2MP Depth and Macro cameras also along. There’s also a 13MP selfie camera in the v-notch in the display on the front.
Samsung will be launching the Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G at the same time as the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G – March 31st – but will only offer them in black. The Galaxy A14 will start at $329, while the Galaxy A14 5G will start at $379.
