For the launch of the Vivid Festival in Sydney this week, LG have unveiled their installation offering a mood inspired guided tour of the eight and a half kilometre long display in the streets of Sydney.
Visitors to the MoodUp display will be greeted by a 4mx11m wall of LED panels and be offered the chance to explore how colour has an effect on their mood. This wall of panels reflect similar customisable colour-changing LED panels in the new LG InstaView Refrigerator with MoodUp which will also be on display for visitors to check out. As well as checking the new fridge out, visitors to the installation also get a chance to win one.
The LG installation will also give guests the opportunity to complete a quick quiz using AR to move their body in front of the large screens to answer questions, with the quiz outputting one of eight moods including Energetic, Cruisy, Whimsical, Cheerful, Adventurous, Creative, Soulful or Curious. You can even capture this with a 360-degree camera avaialble to snap a shot that you can download.
Each visitor will be given an itinerary of the Vivid Sydney installations based on their mood, which LG says is ‘Created through an analysis of their quiz responses and based on their preferred interactivity, energy levels and experience’. You can even change your itinerary if your mood changes.
