Sitting on a brand new all electric platform the MG4 is set to be a groundbreaking vehicle for MG in Australia and globally as a fully electric and affordable Hatch.
With a price of $44,990 plus on roads, the car hits Australia as the cheapest EV here, behind the BYD Atto 3 and MG’s own MG ZS EV.
There will be three specifications available to consumers, with the Excite and Essence packing a 64kWh battery, and another Long-Range Essence with a 77KWh battery.
Range should sit up at 530km on the long range model, with the basic Excite capable of 450km.
Charging will be rated up to 138kW offering a 10-80% charge in less than half an hour.
The best news of all, an all new design style for MG, moving on from the dated look which has been here since it relaunched as a Chinese brand here in Australia, the new MG4 has a strong angular look from all sides.
And it will come with a 7-year unlimited km warranty.
