Once again PAX Aus is on again at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, this time from 6th – 8th October.

The non-stop action at PAX Aus 2023 is headlined by the Splatoon 3 AU/NZ Championship 2023 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Championship 2023 and their finals live in the PAX Arena.  Those who wish to participate in these championships just need to head on over to Nintendo Australia’s website to learn about qualifying online.

This year also sees the return of Bethesda but a this stage their involvement and the experience they are bringing is yet to be announced.  All the usual gaming companies will be there again including Devolver Digital, Audio-Technica, ASUS ROG, Aftershock PC, Cooler Master, HTC VIVE, Corsair, MSI and Crunchyroll.

My favourite part of PAX is always the Indie developers from Australian and New Zealand with many great games with amazing graphics making an appearance.  If you head to PAX Aus 2023 I encourage you to make an effort to go and check out the indie devs and see just what our local scene has to offer – I guarantee you will be impressed.

PAX Aus 2023 is once again not just about digital games with a hall dedicated to various board, card, and tabletop games, including new ones developed by locals for you to try out and play against and with friends on the day.

There will also be various panels, tournaments, and cosplay championships throughout the weekend so if this sounds like something for you, get in quick before the tickets sell out.

Badges for PAX Aus 2023 are on sale now with three-day badges already sold out but single day badges are still available.  For more information head on over to the PAX Aus 2023 website.
