OPPO has today announced the new entry level smartphone, the A58, with an eye to beating the budget pinch at an extremely affordable price.
The OPPO A58 features a large 6.72-inch FHD+ Sunlight display with a 680 nits peak brightness allowing it to be viewed under bright sunlight. The 1080P resolution display supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut producing vibrant colours and sharpness.
The rear camera set up includes a 50MP AI camera with pixel binning support and a 2MP portrait camera to produce better low light images and great portraits. The selfie camera is an 8MP camera to deliver enhanced video call quality and great selfies. OPPO has also included AI software enhancements such as Stylised Nighttime Photography, AI Portrait Retouching, and Panorama Mode.
Once again OPPO are bringing their SUPERVOOC 33W fast charging to the entry-level smartphone although with a 5,000mAh battery you shouldn’t need to charge desperately much at all. With an IPX4 rating the phone will survive most common spills and from dust ingress.
With 6GB of RAM and 128GB of memory powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 platform you can be sure that ColorOS 13 on the OPPO A58 will run consistently as designed.
The OPPO A58 will be available in Dazzling Green and Glowing Black from October 5th with an RRP of $299 from JB-Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Big W, Optus, OPPO’s Online Store and more.
