Belkin has today announced a follow up to their amazing Face-Tracking Mount – called the Auto-Tracking Stand Pro this is the perfect stand for content creators using iPhone 12 and up with MagSafe mounts.
The reason it’s so good is, it just works. you see with the original Face-Tracking mount you needed to enable the tracking then engage the camera and basically, it was a bit of a process.
Perhaps Apple saw a future in this, so they actually built a new system into iOS called DockKit.
You simply snap your phone onto the mount, accept the pairing notification via NFC and when you open a compatible video app, boom – it will follow you around!
Belkin say it will work with apps such as Facetime, Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Whatsapp, Teams and other social media apps. We’re not sure yet if it does require those apps to have implemented DockKit into their own development, but we assume so.

This is not just sideways “pan” movements either, this also works for a 90 degree range of movement up and down in tilt.
The new Auto-Tracking Stand Pro continues Belkin’s environmental push with at least 75% Post Consumer Recycled materials used to make it, and plastic-free packaging too.
It’s coming very soon, and will be $299.95 in Australia.
