Acer has made a splash at CES 2024 announcing a raft of new laptops of varying sizes and features including a 3D screen and inbuilt AI.

Acer Swift laptops with Intel Core Ultra

Acer is bringing three new Swift laptops with the new Intel Core Ultra processors to the market. Using the new Intel processors they arrive with onboard AI Boost with power-efficient AI Acceleration and an Intel Arc GPU. These new features will enable the laptops to make full use of new Windows features such as Microsoft Copilot, noise reduction in Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 and PurifiedView video enhancement technology.

The new laptops include the new Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-72) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73), each offering all-day battery life of up to 12.5 hours for the 14-inch version and 10.5 for the 16-inch version. Both include a 1440p QHD webcam, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 technology, and support for Wi-Fi 7.

Both Go laptops also include OLED laptops and support of up to 32GB with dual slots for SSDs. Ports include dual USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 – both offering fast charging, a USB Type-A port with offline charging, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader.

Acer is also announcing a new Swift X 14 laptop (SFX14-72G) which includes the new Intel Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPUs, and a Calman-verified 2.8K OLED panel. With dual USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a MicroSD card reader, as well as Wi-Fi 6E you can be sure you have great connectivity at all times too. The Swift X 14 comes with up to 32GB RAM and up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

The Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-72/T) will be available in Australia in Q2 2024, starting at AU$1,899.
The Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73/T) and the Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) will both be available in Australia in Q1 2024, starting at AU$1,699 and AU$4,199 repsectively.

Acer Aspire Vero 16 AI Laptop

Once again, the Aspire Vero 16 AI PC is powered by the new Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with Intel AI Boost and promises to deliver a premium PC experience while also being an eco-conscious choice. The Aspire Vero 16 AI PC is actually a carbon neutral PC for those especially environmentally conscious.

The webcam is a QHD camera once again and the 16-inch WQXGA display covers 100% of the sRGB colour space. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth LE, two USB Type-C ports (Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4), and an HDMI 2.1 port. The Acer Aspire Vero 16 (AV16-51P) pricing and availability in Australia is TBC.

Acer Aspire Go Laptops

The new Acer Aspire Go 15 (AG15-31P) and Aspire Go 14 (AG14-31P) are powered by up to Intel Core i3 N-Series processors with an aim to provide decent performance along with a 10-hour battery life at an affordable price. The Go 14 can also be equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors.

Both models arrive with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD. The Go 14 includes a WUXGA display while the Go 15 has a FHD display. Australian pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.

Acer 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition Laptop

The new Acer Aspire 3D 15 laptop (A3D15-71GM) integrates SpatialLabs’ advanced optical solutions alongside up to an Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs.

The 3D laptop is shipped with SpatialLabs Experience Center Pro to deliver an even more immersive 3D experience with an ability to render 3D models from 2D content in real time. The SpatialLabs software creates depth maps for your content, whether it be a photo, video, or YouTube video in the blink of an eye.

The display on the 3D 15 is a 15.6-inch UHD IPS panel and can be switched between 2D and 3D viewing modes. With up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage the laptop offers performance across all levels creators could ask for.

The Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition (A3D15-71GM) pricing and availability in Australia is yet to be announced.
