Being a CES 2024 Innovation Award Honoree, the new monitors from Dell offer new technological innovations while also having the TUV Rheinland® five-star eye comfort certification to reduce signs of eye fatigue.

The new monitors include the world’s first 40-inch 5K monitor certified for five-star eye comfort, the Dell Ultrasharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW). This new monitor offers the ultrasharp clarity that has made Dell one of the monitor industry leaders.

Certified with VESA DisplayHDR 600, the ultrawide U4025QW includes IPS Black Panel technology and a 5K resolution (5120×2160) for improved colour contrast and intricate details. The refresh rate of the new display is also doubled from 60Hz to 120Hz while including an ambient light sensor to adjust the screen brightness and colour temperature based on the environment it is being used within.

The blue light exposure is also decreased thanks to Dell’s ComfortView Plus and an improved LED backlight. The colour reproduction is not adversely affected either with a 99% DCI-P3 / Display P3 colour space.

Connectivity-wise, there is support for Thunderbolt 4 support with up to 140W power delivery, Ethernet connectivity via RJ45, HDMI 2.1 FRL, and DisplayPort 2.1 for all options you may need.

If 40-inches is too large for you, Dell has also unveiled the new Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U3425WE) with a WQHD resolution (2560×1440) with many of the same features as the 40-inch variant (U4025QW) including the TUV Rheinland® five-star eye comfort certification, IPS Black technology and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity (up to 90W power delivery).

Releasing in Q1 in the US local Australian availability and pricing is yet to be announced but keep an eye out for them in the coming months.
