Acer have today unveiled their latest Swift series laptops, with the Swift Edge 16 and Swift Go 14 laptops arriving in Australia in the coming months. The laptops include the latest Ryzen 8040 Series processors with Ryzen AI, Microsoft CoPilot in Windows 11 and OLED displays.
The Swift Edge 16 includes an ultra-thin and lightweight magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis which is super lightweight, weighing in at just 1.23kg – for a 16” laptop!
The Swift Edge 16 includes a large 16” 3.2K OLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U octa-core, while the Swift Go 14 also includes a 2.8K OLED panel, in a 14” size capable of up to 90Hz refresh, and is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS octa-core processor.
Both laptops include up to AMD RadeonTM 780M/760M Graphics, as well as up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage – with a microSD card slot included on both. THe Swift Edge 16 will support Wifi 7, while the Swift Go 14 includes Wifi 6E support, with both laptops offering HDMI 2.1, as well as dual USB Type-C ports with support for USB4.
Running Windows 11, the Swift Edge 16 and Swift Go 14 include a dedicated CoPilot key for accessing AI features. Acer has included a number of special AI features including Acer PurifiedVoice, Acer PurfiedView helping you reduce background noise and do things like blur your background, stay in focus, and more, as well as the new Acer LiveArt photo-editing feature.
Acer says both the Swift Edge 16 and Swift Go 14 will be arriving in Australia in Q2, with the Swift Go 14 priced from $1399.99, while the Swift Edge 16 will be priced at $2,199.99. You can check them out on the Acer Australia website.
