The launch of Foxtel Group’s big future play Hubbl must be nearing as the company today announced the apps which will come on-board the streaming set-top-box and TV being sold under the Hubbl brand.

Global streaming services include Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video as well as Apple TV Plus, Paramount Plus and YouTube.

Local streaming services will of course include the Foxtel Group family of apps such as Kayo Sports, Binge and Flash, but Hubbl has today confirmed the App lineup will also include Stan, Optus Sport and a new streaming app full of Lifestyle content – called – wait for it – LifeStyle.

For Free-to-Air streaming over the internet, and catch-up and free streaming content the five major TV network apps will all be part of the Hubbl app lineup – ABC iView, SBS On Demand, 7Plus, 9Now and 10Play.

It is noted within the announcement that Stan, Optus Sport and Paramount Plus won’t be available at launch, but will follow “soon” after launch.

Patrick Delany, CEO of the Foxtel Group and Hubbl, says, “Hubbl will effortlessly fuse free and paid entertainment and sport from Australia’s favourite apps, channels, live TV and the internet into one seamless user experience.

“Hubbl is only as good as the breadth and depth of apps integrated onto the platform to ensure a truly converged streaming experience and in removing frustration when it comes to the choice of what to watch. It’s a huge testament to the transformative Hubbl technology that these world-class and much loved local partners have chosen to reshape the streaming experience with us. The future of TV and streaming is here.”
