Arlo hits another subscriber milestone as more people realise security cameras need smarts!

Arlo Technologies the company behind the leading smart home security brand Arlo has announced they have passed four million paid subscribers on their Arlo Secure platform.

There’s a couple of reasons I find this impressive. Firstly, I was only four months ago they announced they’d hit three million so the growth trajectory is outstanding.

Secondly, it shows more people are realising that security cameras are only as smart as the notifications you receive.

I know this for a fact, running several brands side by side at my home I get constant notifications from some at the movement of a tree branch, but with Arlo I can choose to get alerts for People, Animals, Vehicles even Packages.

Arlo CEO Matthew McRae says “Subscriptions to Arlo’s AI-powered service continue to grow in 2024, and we are proud to have achieved the 4 million subscriber milestone

Arlo will continue to invest in our AI and SaaS platform and roll out numerous exciting new features and AI capabilities to further our position as the leader in the market. The team remains committed to providing an incredible user experience for current and new subscribers.

With Arlo Secure you get 30 days of secure cloud storage for your video as well as those smart notifications and activity zones. Additionally there’s priority care and support included too.

Makes sense – and it’s never been near the top of the list of subscriptions I’d remove when thinking about saving money as we all do time to time.
