So far, the overwhelming theme of IFA 2024 has been AI laptops and MSI have joined the bunch with an announcement of new gaming and business focused laptops complete with next-gen AI+ and the latest processors.
MSI has launched the industry’s leading next-gen AI+ business and productivity laptops, the Prestige and Summit series, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2). The laptops with the new processors are able to deliver up to three times more TOPS and with an integrated GPU, CPU and NPU it can offer up to 120 total platform TOPS and thus capable of driving more intensive AI software and able to perform more tasks on-device.
Alongside these Intel-powered AI+ laptops MSI has also announced the new Claw 8 AI+ Windows 11 gaming handheld device, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) sporting an 8-inch screen and an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series of laptops.

For the non-AI inclined folk MSI has also announced a new Venture laptop series, thin, light and powerful and also equipped with Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2). The new Venture series will come in difference sizes from 14 and up to 17-inches
MSI also announced the whole new Venture series laptops, redefining the combination of thin, light and powerful. Equipped with Intel Core™ Ultra processors (Series 2) and varieties of different size, from 14, 15.6, 16, to 17 inches.

The new Prestige series laptops will come in 13, 14 and 16-inch sizes and feature ultra-light bodies, large batteries and long battery life. The webcams have also been upgraded to a 5MP camera for better quality video and streaming. Available for pre-order from September 6, 2024, prices start at AU$2,699.

Also part of the business and productivity series is the Summit 13 AI+ EVO, now shipping with the new Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) and it includes a lightweight body, comprehensive security and the MSI Pen 2 stylus supporting MPP 2.6. This 13-inch flip laptop is a veratile powerhouse.
New AMD Ryzen AI 300 series laptops including Stealth A16 AI+, Summit A16 AI+, Prestige A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ also feature 2.8 times more TOPS than the previous generation, enabling generative AI and large language models to run on-deivce on your laptop.
The Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ are, as you may suspect, designed for gamers and creators with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs providing advanced computing in a thin and lightweight chassis.

Claw 8 AI+
MSI is also announcing the updated Claw, complete with Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) and a new 8-inch screen. The hardware buttons have also been upgraded with upgraded LB/RB buttons, an addiitonal Thunderbolt 4 port, improved battery capacity and making the charger lighter and more portable.
After the official release, a one-month free trial of Xbox Game Pass will be provided, allowing users to enjoy the most popular AAA games of the moment.
