PAX AUS 2024 announces the vendors attending the event this year — will we be seeing a local Steam Deck release?

The big-name publishers and hardware brands will be bringing their wares to PAX AUS this year with publishers Bethesda Softworks ANZ, Blizzard Entertainment, Devolver, FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online, PC Game Pass, Playside Studios, SEGA, Steam, The Sims, Ubisoft and more making an appearance.

The hardware brands will also be there for those looking for the latest and greatest in gaming gear (plus they often have great giveaways and prizes).  AFTERSHOCK PC, ASUS – Republic of Gamers, Bluemouth Interactive, Cooler Master, Govee by Clever Gear, Intel, Keychron, LG Electronics Australia, MSI Gaming, Samsung and Secretlab will all be there vying for your attention and hard-earned money.

A big vendor that we are looking forward to checking out is Steam with speculation rife that they will be showing off the Steam Deck and announcing a local release. *fingers crossed*

This year, interactive dodgeball is a thing at PAX AUS with the high-impact sport including “gamified mechanics” through an LED court.  The winner will be crowned Australia’s first  Red Bull Gameball Royale Champions.

Indie games will also be front and centre once again with the New Zealand Centre of Digital Excellence bringing 18 of New Zealand’s newest indie games to be shown alongside Australia’s newest indie games.

The tabletop will be the biggest ever at a PAX AUS event so if that’s your thing be sure to head over and check out what’s going on there.

At this stage, three-day and Saturday passes are sold out but Friday and Sunday badges are still available so you’d better get in quick if you want to check it out.

PAX Aus takes place on October 11-13 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.  For more information, updates and to purchase badges, please visit the official PAX AUS website.
