TCL launch their latest Halo Control tech for TVs and announce Bang & Olufsen partnership

At CES, TCL is showing off their latest innovations, with a new range of TVs and sound bars. They’ve also announced a new partnership with Bang & Olufsen to bring improved audio to their TVs.

The highlight for TCL is the flagship TCL X11K QD-Mini LED TV, showing off TCL’s innovation in display technology. The TV includes over 14,000 local dimming zones and HDR 6500 nits for a crisp and bright visual experience.

The TCL X11K utilises TCL’s ‘All-domain Halo Control Technology’, which uses reduced optical distance on their panel to eliminate blooming, more commonly known as ‘halos’ from your images, and brings every frame to life in crisp detail.

The big news for the X11K and TCL, is the audio is set to get a boost with Bang & OIufsen on-board, offering a ‘bespoke sound solution’ which should offer high end audio to match the TCL visuals.

The X11K is simply the best TV we have ever seen at TCL, and our retailers are so excited about welcoming this into Australia this year,” said Jason Carrick, General Manager – Sales.

TCL has also leveraged this partnership with Bang & Olufsen for their TCL A300 series TV – a lifestyle design TV offering a flat & slim frame design that comes with a movable floor stand – though it can also be wall mounted, or sit on your entertainment unit.

The A300 Series TV will be offered in 85”, 75”, 65” and 55” and also includes audio by Bang & Olufsen with a 3.1.2 ch Ultra-Slim Wireless Soundbar included.

TCL is also offering the R83 Professional Monitor Series for gaming enthusiasts. These monitors offer ‘pixel-level precision, enhancing immersive gaming and creative excellence’.

Offered in 27″ and 34″ sizes, the R83 Professional Monitor Series feature Mini LED panels with 1100+ Local Dimming Zones. The 27″ offers 4K resolution and 160Hz refresh rate, while the 34″ model comes with WQHD resolution @ 170Hz.

The displays are Pantone validated and they both support NVIDIA’s G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync Premium for stutter-free gaming.

We are excited to launch premium monitors knowing that we are one of the world’s largest suppliers of monitor screens,” said Jason Carrick, General Manager – Sales.
