Hisense launches AI powered Smart Hub Refrigerator that can track your food and reduce food wastage

After announcing their latest Laser TVs, including a massive 116” model at CES this week, Hisense are today announcing their new AI powered Smart Home Hub refrigerator, with a companion app to app as the centre of their connected home.

The Hisense Smart Hub Refrigerator includes a user-friendly interactive touchscreen, seamlessly integrated into the refrigerator’s design. The hub will be able to offer features including ‘simplifying daily routines or enabling smarter food management’ says Hisense.

The AI powered Smart Hub will integrate with the ConnectLife app – available for Android and iOS – letting you easily plan meals, keep track of your food and more.

As part of the launch, Hisense have introduced a number of features to reduce food wastage, including a new Dish Designer in the ConnectLife app, a smart cooking solution which suggests recipes based on ingredients you already have.

The Smart Hub Refrigerator also includes an adaptable storage zone powered by Hisense’s My Fresh Choice technology that allows owners to ‘switch between fridge and freezer modes, with temperature settings ranging from -20°C to +5°C’.

The Hisense Smart Hub Refrigerator will be available in Australia with pricing and availability to be announced this year.
