Walking the halls of Unveiled, some products just capture the attention of the crowd and the LiberLive C1 Stringless Backing Guitar was one of those products.

The LiberLive C1 is a stringless guitar that transforms solo performances into full-band experiences. Through innovative technology, players can trigger real-time chords while the instrument automatically generates accompanying drum and bass lines, creating a complete musical ensemble from a single device.

To demonstrate these features at Unveiled, the LiberLive team engaged a young performer to play the instrument, while singing a well known Lady Gaga song. For me, it lacked a bit of depth to the music but as a bit of fun at parties, I can see the appeal.

Making the instrument more appealing to beginners is their dynamic guide lights along the neck of the guitar that work in tandem with interactive sheet music through the companion app, helping players maintain perfect timing

On sale in the US for $499 with Australian availability to be advised.
