Last year the moto razr 50 Ultra received our best flip phone award — it is that good. The phone is nearly perfect so there is not many places it could improve but Motorola are trying their hardest according to a leaker TENAA filing this week.
According to the filing at the TENAA regulatory body the upcoming moto razr 60 ultra will come with the same size and resolution outer/cover display but the inner display will not only be bigger but have an improved resolution.

The razr 50 ultra has a 6.9-inch 1080 x 2640 resolution foldable AMOLED display. The razr 60 ultra apparently steps this up with a 6.96-inch 1224 x 2992 pixel display. To compensate for this higher resolution display the battery will also be slightly bigger at 4,500mAh, up from 4,000mAh in the razr 50 ultra.
The main camera will still be a dual 50MP camera but the front/selfie camera will this time be 50MP, up from 32MP.
It’s great to see Motorola improving an already amazing flip phone but we must be nearly at a point where it is just not possible to fit much more in such a small footprint.
I’m seeing another flip phone purchase in my future. In the meantime, the moto razr 50 ultra remains a great purchase and does not appear to be all that different to the razr 60 ultra model.
