The new Logitech G522 gaming headset will help you level up

Logitech G, Logitech’s gaming sub-brand, has announced a new headset for their G5 series of gaming accessories.

The G522 is an evolution of the popular G733 headset, with a fresh redesign that includes sleeker curves and a more modern approach to performance and style.

Engineers focused on comfort when designing the new Logitech G522, which features wider ear cups and an extra layer of memory foam for more cushioning and cooling, thanks to a new softer and more durable fabric. Logitech spoke of the focus on comfort for all gamers, including gamers who wear glasses or earrings, making the headset the headset of choice for anyone and everyone.

“The G522 headset is the result of meticulous craftsmanship and a relentless attention to detail, every element is intentionally designed to deliver a curated, premium experience,” said Ahmed Riaz, Head of Design at Logitech G. “It builds on a proven formula for success that’s become synonymous with our G5 Series products, combining precision engineering with a deep understanding of what today’s gamers value most.”

The headset delivers high-quality sound thanks to synchronised PRO-G drivers and 48 kHz/24-bit digital signal processing. The 48kHz/16-bit microphone is enhanced by BLUE VO!CE technology to ensure your voice is heard loud and clear above the game’s noise. Audio can also be further customised using real-time filters and effects.

Tri-mode connectivity with LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth and USB-C is included for connection across various platforms, including PC, console and mobile.

The earcups include RGB lighting, which is controlled using the G HUB software. The software also adjusts your mic settings, and up to three custom profiles can be saved on the headset itself.

The Logitech G522 Gaming Headset is now available to preorder in black and white at major consumer electronics retailers for a suggested retail price of 9.95 AUD.
