The entire Arlo smart home security camera range is getting a refresh with new features, upgrades and two brand new cameras with outstanding features at affordable prices.
All-new models are available across the entry-level Essential range, through the Pro series and Ultra cameras offering the latest connectivity and technology at every price point.
Matthew McRae, CEO of Arlo says “Building on the successful launch of Arlo Secure 6 and its advanced AI capabilities earlier this year, we’re excited to introduce our all-new lineup that leverages all of the advanced capabilities of Arlo Intelligence to deliver smarter, safer and more comprehensive smart home security,”
“With over 5 million subscribers globally, Arlo is the trusted provider of security services that continues to lead the market, offering the most advanced, easy-to-use smart security platform that delivers more intelligence, more control, and more peace of mind.”
As part of that lineup, two new Pan and Tilt cameras are part of the Arlo range, offering 360 degree protection looking left and right (pan) and 180 degree range of movement up and down.

What’s awesome is unlike many other PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) style cameras, these are able to be manually controlled as well as having intelligent tracking. This means (and I’ve done some very limited testing thus far) that if the Camera detects motion it will follow that motion as it moves around the area of view.
In real terms, if someone walks into the shot, it will follow that person as they walk.

There’s two Pan Tilt cameras, one for indoors – at just $79 – which tilts down into it’s base for privacy when not active, and the Outdoor one which doesn’t require an electrician for installation, instead – it comes with an extra long cable for DIY installation from a power point.
The outdoor one is just $119
In addition to these two new cameras, there’s new look packaging across the range, and updates to things like WiFi connectivity and image sensors too, as well as USB-C across the range.
Essential 2K 3rd generation now starts at $149, the Arlo Pro 2K (6th Gen) starts at $199, and the Arlo Ultra (3rd Gen) starts at $279
