Robot cleaner company ECOVACS has announced their latest devices at IFA tonight, with the launch of the DEEBOT X11, as well as announcing their entry into the pool cleaner market with the ECOVACS UltraMarine.
DEEBOT X11
The ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 is a breakthrough for the company, as the world’s first robotic vacuum cleaner equipped with PowerBoost Technology for perpetual runtime. ECOVACS will launch both the DEEBOT X11 Pro, as well as introducing DEEBOT X11 PRO OMNI integrating bagless tech into their OMNI Station.
The PowerBoost tech is pretty neat, with the robot able to sip at charging during the mop cleaning pauses. ECOVACS says it can nab 6% battery power during the three minutes mop-cleaning pauses, so you can extend your cleaning with ‘uninterrupted coverage of up to 1,000 m2 in a single session’.

The robot also includes the upgraded OZMO ROLLER 2.0 technology with TruEdge 3.0 so you can really get your floor clean, in every nook and cranny. It can also traverse any thresholds you have in your home with a launcher able to lift it over 2.4cm high barriers.

The included high-density-nylon mop roller, provides up to 3,800Pa of mopping pressure at 200 rpm, so you can take out even the toughest stains effortlessly, with a streak-free finish without water trails.
ECOVACS will also bring debut their AGENT YIKO autonomous home manager with the DEEBOT X11, integrating their voice assistant with a large language model so it can move beyond basic voice control and into multi-step analysis of your home to deliver a more intelligent clean.
ECOVACS is also introducing their first OmniCyclone Station, integrating PureCyclone 2.0 Auto-Empty Technology directly into the OMNI Station so you can simply empty the container directly into the garbage bin.

This is brilliant and will save a heap of waste and cost to end-users, with ECOVACS saying it will save up to 2 million dust bags annually.
ULTRAMARINE
The entry into the robot pool cleaner market is a no-brainer for ECOVACS, with successful robot cleaners already available across the home including the GOAT lawnmower and WinBot window cleaner.
There’s not a lot of details available for the ECOVACS ULTRAMARINE, which will be on-show at IFA this week, however it will include ‘multiple rolling brushes, powerful suction, and diverse cleaning modes’.
ECOVACS says the ULTRAMARINE will utilise their ‘most advanced positioning, obstacle avoidance, and navigation algorithms’ so you’ll very likely see a nice map of your pool and how clean it is – nice!
David Cheng Qian, Vice Chairman of ECOVACS Group and CEO of ECOVACS ROBOTICS, said at the launch
“Driven by our mission of ‘Robotics for All,’ we continue to launch technologies and products that genuinely improve people’s lives. From DEEBOT to a wider range of home scenarios, every innovation is grounded in real consumer needs. We believe that future smart homes should deliver proactive services, with ‘invisible’ technology. Building on the foundation of our robust supply chain, we will continue to advance technological innovations to ensure that ‘What Only ECOVACS Can Do’ translates into real, lasting value for our customers.”
No pricing or availability info for the DEEBOT X11 or the ECOVACS ULTRAMARINE but we’re keen to see both in action at IFA, as well as when they launch here in Australia.
