Netgear have expanded their range of WiFi 7 Orbi devices in Australia, with the launch of the new Orbi 370 series – their most affordable WiFi 7 Mesh system yet. 

The Orbi 370 series packs in a host of features, including a minimalist design that fits into any space, while packing in some of the most advanced mesh networking options and cyber security features.

The dual-band router offers multi-link support across 2.4GHz & 5GHz for improved reliability and speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps for smooth streaming, lag-free gaming, and seamless smart home control. 

Fast, 2.5G ports on the router and satellites, offers options for faster cable and fibre plans from your ISP, as well as the option to plug in wired devices and switches.

The Orbi 370 includes support for connecting up to 70 devices at once – all managed via the Orbi App, letting you easily manage your network from anywhere, with options to pause the internet, check speeds and data usage, setup guest networks and more. 

There’s a host of security features included to keep your network secure, including state-of-the-art firewall protection, automatic firmware updates, VPN support, WPA3 security, access control, and guest WiFi network options. 

Netgear also offer a 30-day free trial of NETGEAR Armor Powered by Bitdefender, which includes threat protection and VPN. There’s also NETGEAR Smart Parental Controls offering support for parents to help manage screentime, provide online safety, and ‘promote good online habits for the family’. There are basic features available for free, but some more advanced features require a premium plan after a 30-day trial.

In terms of coverage, the system can cover up to 120m2 from a single unit,  with additional satellites doubling your footprint – though you have to buy a two-pack to get started. 

The Orbi system starts with a two-pack for $459, which includes a router and an satellite  to start your mesh network. You can also add an additional satellite for $229 – or buy a 3-pack which includes a router and two satellites for $649.
