Alongside their already announced new Bespoke living range, Samsung has announced an expanded  kitchen appliances lineup at CES 2026 which will include the latest model of their Bespoke AI Refrigerator which will feature ‘vision-based’ AI functionality powered by Google’s Gemini AI.

The Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub will support AI Vision, giving the refrigerator the ability to recognise up to 37 types of fresh food and 50 types of pre-registered processed food on-device.

Samsung says they’ll further be able to add the ability to recognise processed foods using the AI Vision technology, which will also include user-labelled food stored in personal container, so you can have a more comprehensive view of what meals are available to cook.

Jeong Seung Moon, Executive Vice President and Head of R&D Team for Digital Appliances (DA) Business at Samsung Electronics said

“In pioneering the application of vision-based AI technology, Samsung has led innovation in the kitchen appliance market. Samsung will reach a new level of innovation through this collaboration with Google Cloud and will utilise these ongoing initiatives to continue to deliver better consumer experiences in the upcoming year.”

It’s not just the Bespoke AI Refrigerator hub, with Samsung also announcing the Bespoke AI Wine Cellar will also support AI Vision powered by Google Gemini.

The AI Vison tech will be able to detect when you add or remove wine from the fridge with a camera in the top of the unit tracking  labels and bottles in realtime and updating the SmartThings AI Wine Manager.

The Wine Manager will be able to tell you where each bottle is placed, as well as giving users the ability to easily look up wine information more conveniently and, based on the contents of their Bespoke AI Refrigerator,  receive suggestions on pairings on your next meal. While they’ve announced the newBespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub and Wine Cellar, Samsung Australia has not confirmed whether they will be part of their 2026 Home Appliance line-up at this time – so stay tuned.
