ASUS have announced their 2026 range of consumer laptops at CES, and one of the highlights is the new Zenbook A-series, which impressed us  last year, and now comes in a larger 16” option.

ASUS made the Zenbook A14 the showcase for their lightweight Ceraluminum material last year, with the laptop super-lightweight and durable with a premium finish.

 At CES 2026, ASUS announced the entire Zenbook range would be getting the Ceraluminum treatment, including the Zenbook A-series with the material used in the lid, keyboard frame and bottom case.

This lightweight material means the Zenbook A14 stays under 1kg, with the Zenbook A16 at 1.2kg – still lighter than a lot of 14-inch laptops, yet still packing in a 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display with 1100 nits brightness.

The new Zenbook A-series will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon series processors, with the Zenbook A14 using the Snapdragon X2 Elite with up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, while the Zenbook A16 will come in a choice of configs with either a Snapdragon X and up to 32GB RAM, or with a Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme and up to 48GB of RAM. 

ASUS have included a 70Wh battery inside the Zenbook A14 and  Zenbook A16, with the larger model expected to still clock in at 21 hours of use, while the smaller Zenbook A14 is expected to last up to 35 hours on a single charge.

The Zenbook A-series will come in a choice of colours: Iceland Grey and Zabriskie Beige, with the Ceraluminum finish smudge, scratch and wear resistant.

Both models include a full array of ports, including USB-C (USB4), USB-A (3.2) and HDMI out. 

The laptops include Dolby Atmos tuned sound, with the Zenbook A14 using dual linear speakers, while the Zenbook A16 is treated to a six-speaker setup. 

There’s no release dates, or pricing information for the new ASUS Zenbook A14 or Zenbook A16, but we’ll have more information closer to launch.
