At CES 2026, HP announced that OMEN and HyperX will combine to become a single gaming brand, HyperX.  

HyperX will now deliver the end-to-end gaming experience, encompassing gaming PCs, displays, peripherals, and software.

HyperX OMEN MAX 16

The new HyperX OMEN MAX 16 is HyperX’s latest gaming laptop, being announced this week at CES 2026.  It delivers up to 300W of Total Platform Power and is powered by Intel Core Ultra 200HX series and AMD Ryzen AI processors.  

The powerful, immersive gaming is provided by GPUs up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5090 Laptop GPU and the cooling is provided by the redesigned OMEN Tempest Cooling Pro system, which features a third fan and fan cleaner technology to improve cooling efficiency.  

The display is an impressive 16-inch OLED 240Hz WQXGA, promising a smooth, vibrant gaming experience.

HyperX OMEN OLED 34

The innovative HyperX OMEN OLED 34 delivers a new level of “clarity, speed and colour accuracy” thanks to the next-generation V-stripe QD-OLED panel technology.

This new technology provides a 21:9 WQHD resolution, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time, with less text fringing and overall better picture quality.  The monitor provides HyperProLuma professional-grade colour precision along with 100W USB-C PD and a KVM switch for multitasking.
