Logitech announced the Pro X2 Superstrike gaming mouse at their Logitech G Plays event in September last year and have now announced it’s up for pre-order, and going on-sale in Australia on February 24th.

Priced at $299, the Pro X2 Superstrike is built for ‘ultimate speed and precision’ and brings the industry’s first Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS) which does away with traditional switches and replaces them with inductive analog sensing – which Logitech says can cut click latency by up to 30 ms.

The mouse is available to pre-order through JB Hifi, customers who pre-order the mouse before February 24th are able to trial the mouse and return it to any Australian JB Hi-Fi retail store if they are not completely happy for any reason up to 30 days from the date of purchase or delivery at launch – that’s confidence.

Speaking of the guarantee, Daniel Hall, Senior Category Manager at Logitech G ANZ.said

“This announcement is a milestone moment for Logitech G, reflecting our complete confidence and enthusiasm for this revolutionary mouse. It demonstrates our willingness to try something new, back our innovations, and push boundaries in the category,”

The inductive analog sensing and real-time haptic feedback from the HITS Superstrike technology will be configurable in Logitech’s G-Hub software on your PC, giving you the ability to set the mouse at one of ten adjustable actuation points and five rapid-trigger reset points, with a real-time haptic engine replacing the traditional ‘click’ of a switch.

You can check the full device out on the Logitech website, or head straight over to JB HiFi to pre-order now.
