If I had a dollar for every time someone had asked me where to get a good deal on an iPhone – well, I’d have no mortgage. It just doesn’t happen, much. Apple iPhones don’t get big discounts across retailers, but for some reason the iPhone Air is currently on sale at JB HiFi for a staggeringly low price.

$1,299 for a phone that Apple launched and is still selling for $1,799. $500 off? That’s unheard of in Apple devices.

Some will say this is a sign of the failure of the iPhone Air, and perhaps there’s some truth in that. Early reviews of the iPhone Air claimed it had a poor battery life, and I am sure those reviews have impacted sales.

Additionally, at the $1,799 price it’s a premium phone – most of which get sold on plans, and if you’re on a plan you’re almost better off just paying a few dollars more per month for the Pro models – the cameras are sensational.

iPhone Air is sensational, I’ve used it for many months, no battery complaints at all. I do really wish it had two camera lenses though.
