Smart wearable company Amazfit has arrived in Australia, bringing their range of wearable tech to our shores through their new online store.

The launch is just the beginning for Amazfit, who see the Australian market as an opportunity for growth with our love of the great outdoors, with Robbie Wu, APAC General Manager, Amazfit saying

“Australia is one of the most active and health-conscious markets in the world, and active consumers now increasingly want to understand how sleep, stress, exercise, cardiovascular indicators and recovery interact for long-term wellbeing. Amazfit is built around this shift from recording activity to interpreting health and performance, in a meaningful and accurate way”

Owned by health tech company Zepp Health, the line of Amazfit devices run Zepp OS combining proprietary biometric sensors, artificial intelligence, sports-science algorithms, advanced GPS technology and long battery life.

The store includes a range of Smartwatches and Charging Docks, including two of their most popular devices, the Amazfit Active 3 Premium and Amazfit Helio Strap.

The Active 3 Premium smartwatch is aimed at new, and developing runners, helping them to build progress through tools including Zepp Coach which can offer adaptive running plans which are designed to introduce greater structure, consistency and confidence.

Priced at $239, the watch has a 45mm stainless-steel body with four buttons and available in three colourways: Apex Silver, Atlas Blue and Aero White.

The case surrounds a 1.32-inch AMOLED display protected by sapphire glass which is capable of up to 3,000 nits brightness – perfect for viewing outdoors, with the watch capable of up to 12 days of battery life from a single charge.

Featuring support for multiple satellites tracking, it includes 4GB of on-board storage for keeping offline maps with turn-by-turn navigation, as well as audio so you can leave your phone behind on a run.

The watch can track your health, fitness with sensors to record your heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep quality and recovery insights through Amazfit’s BioTracker technology.

The Amazfit Helio Strap is a display-less fitness tracker, similar in design to the Whoop Band, or recently released Fitbit Air

Designed to be worn on your wrist during the day, and on your upper arm during workout for a more secure fit, the Amazfit Helio Strap offers subscription-free continuous heart-rate monitoring, as well as constantly monitoring your health and recovery, heart-rate variability, and your sleep, blood oxygen levels, stress and BioCharge energy (like a “battery percentage” for your body) information.

The Helio Strap will integrate with other devices and systems, able to broadcast real-time heart-rate information to Amazfit watches, cycling computers, fitness equipment and fitness applications.

The tracker also includes support for tracking 27 sports through the Zepp app, which includes HYROX functionality, with Amazffit currently a partner of this new fitness trend that sees competitors completing a set of eight functional workouts, followed by eight one kilometer runs.

It’s only available in black, with a RRP of $166.
