PC form-factors aren’t usually very exciting, but today HP have unveiled their new EliteBoard G1a which removes the usual desktop tower, building the entire PC into the keyboard. 

HP will offer a number of configurations with the system powered by AMD Ryzen Al 300 series processors with Radeon 800M graphics and up to 64GB, DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of on-board storage. 

There’s a USB4 port on the rear powering up to four 4K displays, with a secondary USB-C port for more peripherals but comes pre-paired with a wireless mouse so you’re ready to go straight out of the box. 

The slim form-factor takes up less room than a traditional PC setup with a tower, and to keep that minimalist idea, there’s built-in speakers and dual microphones so you can take calls and more without missing a beat. Factor in a built-in webcam to the display you plug it into and you’re good to go. 

An optional 32Wh battery can be included inside the EliteBoard G1a, giving you up to 3.5 hours of run-time if needed – time to get those monitors on UPS.

There’s WiFi 7 and Bluetooth on-board to connect to your network, or you can plug a USB-C hub into the keyboard so you can plug in more peripherals or connect to a physical ethernet port. 

The system has been engineered for endurance, with a spill-resistant membrane making it easy to clean in the event of any ‘accidents’.

Running Windows 11 Pro for business and HP Wolf Security, the HP EliteBoard G1a is ready to connect to your corporate network with easy enterprise manageability for your devices team, helping to standardise deployments and with a serviceable architecture it’s easy to configure – and secure.

A physical kensington lock slot is included, and you can also have the keyboard configured with an optional fingerprint scanner for one-touch login.
