As those tax refunds start to appear, it’s time to look at what you can spend them on and a new QD-Mini LED Gaming monitor from TCL could be just the ticket.
Ranging in size from 25” up to 32” with a 16:9 aspect ratio, the new range of QD-Mini LED Gaming monitors is led by the 32” 32R84, TCL’s flagship model offering a 4K UHD resolution Panel with QD-Mini LED technology offering precise contrast control, richer colour and performance.
The 32R84 offers a higher end experience normally found in home theatre displays, with 1,400 local dimming zones and a 1,400-nit peak brightness for precise contrast control. The panel also supports 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut for more accurate colour representation across games, movies and more.

On the gaming side, the 32R84 also supports 165Hz refresh rate with 1ms response, as well as including Freesync compatibility. It also has dual HDMI 2.1 inputs and comes with dual 3W speakers.
Hawke Zhang, TCL Electronics Australia and New Zealand’s Managing Director said
“The 32R84 is proof that TCL’s TV-grade display technology doesn’t stop at the living room. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned building QD-Mini LED into our television range and applied it to a category purpose-built for gamers, and this is just the start of our push into premium gaming displays,”
The range also includes the TCL 32G64, 27G64 offering a more compact 32” and 27” QHD resolution monitors, with 600 nits peak brightness and a wide 178° viewing angle. Both monitors support up to 180Hz refresh rate, with Freesync compatibility.
